Congratulations to School of Nursing and Midwifery’s Professor Joanne Reid who has been appointed as a Director on the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care Board
Professor Joanne Reid has been appointed as a Director on the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care’s Board. The AIIHPC Board of Directors will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring the effective management and governance of the business of the Company and for overseeing its strategic direction.
Professor Reid has held a chair in cancer and palliative care within the School of Nursing and Midwifery since 2017 and is the previous chair of the Palliative Care Research Network within the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care. Professor Reid’s research is predominantly in palliative care. She is one of thirty global pioneering palliative care nurses: Nursing Pioneers Across the World – Learn with St Christopher's CARE (stchristophers.org.uk) and a Fellow (Ad Eundem) of RCSI.
