THIS FREE WEBINAR will present the findings and recommendations from a one-year research project funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing. We conducted a mixed-methods study, involving collaborators from Schools of Nursing and Midwifery across the United Kingdom and Ireland using a survey and qualitative interviews. This was to identify the current content within nursing and midwifery pre-registration programmes

in relation to LGBTQ+ health and to identify best practice and education innovation within these programmes.

In this webinar we will:

• Raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities regarding the inclusion of LGBTQ+ health in nursing and midwifery pre-registration programmes 
• Identify ways to reflect LGBTQ+ health in the nursing and midwifery pre-registration curriculum

The webinar will last two hours and will run from 11am – 1pm (BST) on Friday 29th October 2021.
