Prof Hudson receives prestigious Fulbright scholarship
Peter Hudson, a Professor in Palliative Care at Queen's University's School of Nursing has received a prestigious Fulbright scholarship. Fulbright scholars are recognised for the impact and depth of their research.
The scholarships support recipients for professional development and research in the United States, promoting cultural and educational exchange . Working with the USA's National Centre to Advance Palliative Care and New York University Professor Hudson will develop a comprehensive strategy to improve support for patients with advanced disease and their family caregivers. Professor Hudson is also Director of the Centre for Palliative Care based at St Vincent’s Hospital and a Collaborative Centre of The University of Melbourne, Australia and is involved in a number of international initiatives and is well known for his practice, education and research in the field of palliative care.
