This event is for qualified RNLDs and RNIDs to attend and was developed as a partner event to Positive Choices which is specifically for LD and ID nurse students.

This year the qualified professionals conference will be held at Queen's University Belfast and we will be hearing presenters from across the UK but especially looking forward to hearing from colleagues in Northern Ireland.

 

Speakers and titles will be confirmed early 2024 but subjects presented will include:

 

•  Sleep disturbance in people who have a learning/intellectual disability
•  Safeguarding of older people who have a learning/intellectual disability
•  Liaison work and implications for the practice of all RNLDs/RNIDs to enable and support access to acute services
•  Latest research studies and the implications for the practice of RNLDs/RNIDs
