CCUC International Nursing Programme 2024 Winners
The School of Nursing and Midwifery are pleased to announce that the winners of the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity (CCUC) International Nursing Programme 2024 are Ellen Hoyt, Olivia Baker and Orlaith McKnight.
These students will travel to Atlanta, USA this November for three weeks where they will get to visit the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare, which is a national leader in childhood cancer, haematology, and blood and marrow transplant programs, serving infants through to young adults. The centre will have recently moved to Arthur M. Blank Hospital which is a brand new 19-story, 2 million-square-foot, $1.5 billion state-of-the-art hospital located in North Druid Hills, Atlanta.
The students will also get the opportunity to visit Emory University where they will get a unique insight of what Nursing student life is like in America.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery would like to thank all those who make this wonderful opportunity possible including the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity (CCUC) , Aflac, The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare and The Lillian Carter Center for Global Health & Social Responsibility in Emory University.
