Good Vibrations for AEL International Students
AEL International students were treated to the sights and sounds of an Alternative Ulster when they came along to a special screening of Good Vibrations in the Harty Room on Wednesday 23 February.
Ten years since the film’s release, co-writer Glenn Patterson delivered an engaging and entertaining introduction, giving students from overseas an insight into Belfast in the mid-1970s and the larger than life central character Terri Hooley, Belfast’s godfather of punk.
Professor Franziska Schroeder, Director of Internationalisation was delighted with the enthusiastic response from the students.
A great afternoon was enjoyed by all.
