Placements for Psychology students
Psychology is a core science which studies mind and behaviour. Psychology has a significant impact on all aspects of public life and is at the forefront of helping solve some of the biggest challenges faced in society today in areas of mental health, education, social inequalities, and conflict resolution. Our degree programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and focuses on the scientific inquiry of topics from seven key areas in Psychology, to build understanding and critical insight throughout your journey.
We currently offer the following placement opportunities:
- Undergraduate: optional one-year Professional Placement or optional modular placement in final year.
- Postgraduate: optional placements within our MSc Clinical Health and MSc Applied Development programmes.
Professional Placement
Students can complete a 40 week paid placement from September – June. Hear about Zoe’s professional placement at the SE H&SC Trust.
