Research Interests
Open to PhD applications in developmental cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology, and parenting with a special interest in:
- The development of social cognition
- Early neuromarkers of neurodiversity
- Trajectories of neural development in different populations
- Parents' and caregivers' mental health
I am also open to related proposals.

- A research I co-authored, investigating whether carrying a crying baby in different modalities helps to better sooth them and make them fall asleep (Ohmura et al. 2022), was featured on several news outlets including: BBC, BBC Health Check podcast, The Guardian, The Irish Examiner, ScienceDaily, Neuroscience News, ABC News (Australia), and Today’s Parent.
- BabyGROOVE (2022). Theatre show specifically designed for infants 0-12 months of age
- Bach for Babies (2021). Christmas concert in the Trinity College chapel dedicated to parents and infants.
- Look Who's Learning (2021). Event in collaboration with Filskit Theatre dedicated to explaining parents about the infant brain and to entertain babies with a theater show.
