Research Interests
I am particularly interested in supervising PhD projects that apply core principles of developmental and cognitive psychology to better understand classroom learning and provide practitioners with research-based insights.
Potential research areas include, but are not limited to:
- The nature of mind wandering in children and adolescents
- Following instructions in applied settings
- Children's understanding of attentional states
- Children's comprehension of emotion words, and episodic future thinking
I am also open to exploring any aspect of children's cognition with direct application in classroom settings. Additionally, I have a strong interest in research co-created with teachers and educational psychologists, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
