Research Interests
I welcome projects on the expression, measurement, and the interplay of personality, identity, and psychopathology across various contexts, using quantitative methods like psychometrics, latent variable modelling, network analysis.
Examples:
- Personality and identity in the onset of and recovery from, e.g., depersonalisation-derealisation, eating disorders, addictive behaviours.
- Cross-cultural examination of the generalisability and validity of 'Dark' and maladaptive personality models.
- Personality and the 'social cure', i.e., how personality influences the way interpersonal relationships, support, and other social-identity related resources feed into health outcomes.
- Interplay of individual differences and contextual factors in changes to residential mobility.
- Research on personality, identity, and mattering/purpose in life in relation to well-being and performance across various contexts.
