Public outreach & key achievements
I've been a researcher in drug and alcohol use for over 15 years, and have supervised seven PhD students to completion (as Director of Studies and as Second/Third Supervisor) and into successful careers both inside and outside the academy. I regularly speak about substance use on radio and in print media, aiming to reduce stigma, and communicate science to the public.
