To maximise your student discount and see what’s on offer not only in Belfast but worldwide, there are two key apps you must download and sign up to.

UNIDAYS

This world leading, free platform holds over 800 brands where you can save on products and services worldwide. All you need to do is verify you are a Queen's student, and you will have access to big retailers like ASOS, Adidas, Nike, Amazon Prime, BT (great deals for WiFi and phone plans), and more!

Food delivery services, restaurants and travel are also included such as Deliveroo, Domino’s, FlixBus, Hotels.com, Zizzi and more! These can be redeemable in store, online or both.

STUDENT BEANS

Sometimes brands and products you may be specifically looking for may not be available on UNIDAYS. STUDENT BEANS is a great addition to the free apps you can sign up for to gain access to even more discounts, allowing you to save more! Victoria Square

Located in the heart of city centre, this outdoor shopping mall holds all that you will need from shopping, to dining, to entertainment. A range of student discounts are applicable through the UNIDAYS/STUDENTBEANS app as well as independent discounts shops may hold. Stores include Urban Outfitters, Pull and Bear, H&M, Apple, ODEON and more!

CastleCourt

With over 80 stores, CastleCourt offers student discount at stores like New Look, JD Sports, Schuh, Superdrug and Jack & Jones etc. Full details of up to date deals can be found on their website.

Dining

Boojum

As students, Boojum is our go to place for anything Mexican. Located in city centre, Botanic Avenue and Lisburn Road, Boojum offers student discount on their delicious burritos and bowls.

Little Wing Pizzeria

Fancy a pizza or Italian cuisine? Little Wing Pizzeria offers a 20% student discount on food from Sunday to Thursday. They also have various deals throughout the week that can be more suited to your liking. More information can be found on their website.

Cafes surrounding campus

There are a variety of deals and discounts that surround campus when you are looking for a bite to eat or even a drink. These include The Parlour Bar, located opposite One Elmwood, the Union Bar, Clements coffee, located in the MBC, Maggie Mays and more! Remember that there is no harm in inquiring about student discounts before placing your order as you never know what a restaurant or café has to offer!

Entertainment

Looking for a movie to watch, try out the Queen’s Film Theatre, Movie House Cinema Cityside, or ODEON (you can download the app to buy tickets for just £5!), as they sell tickets for an extremely reasonable price.

If you are looking for an activity, Lost City Adventure Golf at Cityside also offers student discount. On Wednesdays from 5pm-8pm you can book an 18 hole golf round for just £5 while getting pizzas and cocktails for £5 too! For any other day (from Monday to Thursday) students can purchase a 18 hole golf round for just £7.50.

Looking to strike some pins, Hollywood Bowl Belfast offers 10% student discount as well as student deals including unlimited bowling every Sunday from just £10 each. Definitely check out their website to see what offers are on.

Transportation

Translink is the main public transport that is used across Belfast and Northern Ireland. Making sure you sign up for a yLink or Translink Student Card is ideal to get discounted bus and train fares. It’s a convenient way to explore the city without breaking the bank.
