Signing The rules of Signing
BSL, ASL etc. are languages that are designed to replace the spoken word. Complete The individual needs to be able to see you.

Natural gesture and signing supports individuals with difficulties understanding words
on their own. You only need to sign the important words.
Many individuals use their own make up signs/gestures/words.
Remember to use your whole body/facial expressions as well to provide extra clues!
