National Student Survey (NSS) rates our Psychology learning resources
We are delighted that the National Student Survey (NSS) results for 2019 are in and the School is ranked first in the Russell Group (RG) of Universities Psychology Departments for learning resources. We also received an 83% overall satisfaction score from our students which places us tenth amongst RG Psychology Departments.
The NSS is an annual survey which gathers students’ opinions on the quality of their courses. Every UK University takes part in the NSS as well as some colleges and alternative education partners (403 in total). The survey response rate was 72% this year (or 330,035 student responses)
Dr Will Curran our Director of Education said:
“We are pleased that Queen’s Psychology is recognised as a department leading the way in learning resource provision and that our overall satisfaction score places us in the top 10 of the Russell Group Psychology departments. We have worked hard to provide a first class educational experience for our undergraduates. Our students are highly motivated, and their drive has been an important contributory factor in the School’s development. The continued commitment of our staff and students will ensure the school’s future success”.
