Our Global Leaders Programme has a new name: Future Ready Skills for Leaders: Global and this year the destination was Boston.

In December 2022, twenty-five students were selected through a competitive process to participate in this exciting programme. The programme started in January with students being tasked to come up with solutions to the challenge: How might Queen's ensure our students are equipped to tackle 21st Century problems?

The students were facilitated through a Design Thinking process during workshops in January and March before heading off to Boston in June 2023.

In Boston, the students were taken on a variety of visits including: UMass, Harvard Business School, the Elizabeth Peabody House Association, Rapid 7 and the Rian Center. 

On their return to Belfast, the students learned how to deliver a pitch presentation and then pitched their ideas for solutions to the challenge to a panel of Queen's staff and alumni.
