Queen's Shortlisted for Four National KTP Awards
The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) team at Queen's University Belfast is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for four highly esteemed awards at this year’s National KTP Awards!
The annual, Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership Awards are a significant event in the KTP calendar, celebrating the remarkable achievements of KTP Associates, cutting-edge innovation, and successful industry partnerships across the UK. Despite a highly competitive pool of nominations, we are honoured to have been shortlisted in the following categories:

- Academic of the Year: Dr. Tara Brooks
- Future Leader: Una Barrett
Best KTP Support Team: Our team's dedication to facilitating knowledge transfer and driving innovation has led to significant achievements for both our industry and academic partners, and KTP Associates.
Best KTP Promotional Video: We are proud to have our promotional video recognised for its creative and impactful storytelling. It effectively communicates the value of KTPs in fostering innovation, promoting growth, and generating real-world impact.
Academic of the Year: Dr. Tara Brooks has been pivotal in driving the success of many of our partnerships, demonstrating outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication. Dr. Brooks’ expertise and commitment to building strong relationships between academia and industry has led to groundbreaking innovations and significant advancements in various fields.
Future Leader: Una Barrett, KTP Associate with Felix O'Hare, exemplifies remarkable potential and steadfast commitment to advancing sustainability, not only in her partner company, but across the entire construction industry. This nomination recognises her exceptional promise and the impact she has already made.
