Mitchell Institute fellow Fiona Murphy releases new edited book entitled 'Envisioning Sustainabilities: Towards an Anthropology of Sustainability' a text which brings into conversation social scientific studies of sustainability with broader interdisciplinary work on sustainability. The book covers a range of timely topics such as community gardens, food networks, sustainable architecture, urban planning and sustainable water projects. For more see flyer here.
Also included in this collection is a chapter by Research Fellow Alex Koensler entitled ‘Emerging Spheres of Resonance: “Clandestinely Genuine” Food Networks and the Challenges of Governing Sustainability in Italy’ which focuses on Alex’s ongoing work on organic food certification and sustainability in Italy.
