The Mitchell Institute is delighted to announce the latest grant success. Dr Joanne Murphy, Senior Fellow in the Institute for 2015-2016 has just secured a much sought after British Academy small grant for research on the often forgotten role of management in peacebuilding.  Focusing on the role, activity and experiences of city managers in Belfast, Mitrovica and Bilbao, Joanne will explore the hidden dynamics of how public servants navigate, negotiate and positively impact on the reality of conflict and the transition to stability.
